With a contagious energy and enthusiasm that she poured into each and every day, Lori Galvin left an indelible mark upon her family, friends, students, and colleagues. A voracious reader, you could always find a book in her hands and she shared this lifelong love of literature with her grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and many students. With a bold and daring spirit, she was always planning the next exciting adventure or creative family gathering. She found peace when surrounded by the wonder and beauty of nature and enjoyed biking, kayaking, hiking, and gardening. Lori was a passionate and dedicated elementary educator for 18 years. She began as a third grade teacher and later became a reading consultant.
